I bought Design Studio to use way back when, and most of my old cartridges still work with it. But the computer I installed it on is VERY slow, thanks to multiple forced operating system upgrades. I doubled the RAM and the HD size, but it's still pretty slow. I would really like it if I could move the software to a faster machine.
Yes, I know Design Space is supposed to do all sorts of wonderful things, and I use it with my Explores and Maker. But I have several cartridges that Design Space doesn't support, with images I still like to use.
Has ANYBODY ANYWHERE ever succeeded in migrating Design Studio to a new computer? The internet is full of advice that doesn't work anymore.
Thanks!!!

By the way, if you want to keep using legacy Cricuts (Personal, Cake, Create, Cake Mini) with SCAL, and you have the installation software for Design Studio, keep that around. it's the only way to update legacy Cricuts' firmware to versions that work with SCAL (Sure Cuts-A-Lot).
